Landas is committed to support with your first steps in Australia including, but not limited to, the following requirements:

• AUD Personal bank account opening;
• Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC) enrolment;
• Provide a trusted funding facility and fund management for individual’s payment of placement fees, assessment fees and personal funding.
• Personal accounting and taxation requirements including Tax File numbers and Tax Advance.
• Superannuation solution and enrolment;
• Transition funding;
• And any other support covered by Landas Global as deemed necessary by you.

The support of timing for the requirements are set as follows:

• The individuals must send back the signed agreement to Landas confirming that they authorise Landas to manage personal information and gather data as required for the processing of the key items outlined above;
• Personal Bank account is being set up approximately 7 days prior flight schedule in Australia for work deployment to prevent account closure;
• Overseas Health Cover (OVHC) – individual must be enrolled prior to arriving in Australia. A minimum 1 month cover will be set up, or more, as agreed;
• Tax File numbers requests will be processed upon arrival in Australia. This requires personal details, Visa information, an Australian mobile number and local address to complete requirements;
• The individuals can seek Landas service for assistance and processing of Tax Returns at the end of each Financial Year;
• Transition funding will be subject to the terms of the invoices provided and request for payment from the relevant parties.

Upon arrival in Australia, the Applicant is required to provide to Landas:

• Australian mobile number
• Complete address in Australia
• Verification of activated Australian bank account
• Confirmation of TFN submission;

Credit facilities are solely the responsibility and are to be maintained by the Applicant. These include but are not limited to:

• OVHC – After the policy is set up and where agreed the first month is paid from funds provided to Landas, the Applicant must provide bank account details, in their personal name, for the insurer to set the ongoing Direct Debit. The Applicant will, for all future due payments, maintain funds available for the payments and will continue to manage the policy in their name as long as it is required;
• Transition Funding loan – This loan is set up independently by the loan credit provider. It is the Applicants responsibility to maintain the repayments of the loan and to pay the loan in full, in line with the terms and conditions of the loan contract that is signed and agreed by the Applicant. This includes maintaining an active Direct Debit agreement, utilising a bank account also in the name of the Applicant;
• Tax Return –The preparation and submission of the Tax Return is typically completed by a licenced accountant however it remains the responsibility of the Applicant to be active in this process and have a Tax Return annually in line with regulatory requirements.
• Any other notices or information required by law or from Landas;

Any Financial Loan/Credit entities carry on their business independently of Landas and it is the Applicant’s responsibility to engage and source any funding required. All Credit Advancements are to meet Financer repayment Terms and Conditions and comply with Australian Credit Law. Landas Pty Ltd does not provide personal Loans or Cash Advances.

Landas will endeavour to support you to meet your requirements within the required timing. Landas is not responsible for completion of these requirements and takes no responsibility if your fail to complete the appropriate steps. Landas provides relevant information and solutions.
